    Stephen Thuot, Ph.D., USPTA serves on the USPTA-New England Board of Directors as Regional Vice President. Prior to joining Adirondack as Tennis Director in 2014, Stephen was on the tennis staff at The Thoreau Club in Concord, MA where he coached Thoreau's Women's 3.5 USTA team to the 2011 National Championship. Additionally, he served as Boys Varsity Tennis Coach at Lincoln-Sudbury High School. He has also coached New England Sectional junior teams at various national championships. Stephen earned his Ph.D. in Sport Psychology/Motor Learning from The University of Connecticut. His Sport Psychology consulting has included college and high school teams as well as individual athletes. He has written numerous professional publications and is a frequent speaker at regional and national tennis conferences.

    Filipe Miguel has been teaching at the Adirondack Club since 2010. He is certified by both the USPTA and USPTR. Prior to serving the Adirondack Club as the Director of Junior Development, Filipe was the Tennis Director at the Edgewood Pool and Tennis Club, in Raynham, Mass. for 16 years. He also coached the Bridgewater State University Men's and Women's Tennis teams to its first NCAA tournament bid. Filipe has coached many Juniors to regional and national rankings. He serves as the USTA Jr. Team Tennis Area Coordinator of the Southeastern Mass area. In 2007, he was recognized with a USTA New England ITA Community Tennis Award. As a player, Filipe currently captains the Men's A team at Adirondack Club. He has been ranked in the top ten in New England in different divisions. In his senior year at the University of Mass Dartmouth where he captained the team, Filipe won the 1st singles flight Little East Championship and the league sportsmanship award. Fil enjoys sharing his love of tennis with both juniors and adults.

    Emmanuel Dodoo joined the Adirondack tennis staff in 2007. Before Adirondack, he taught at Westboro Swim and Tennis Club. Since his arrival in the United States, Emmy has coached numerous championship Women's teams as well as coaching ranked junior players. Prior to teaching in the United States, Emmy taught in Verona, Italy and his native Ghana where he was selected to represent Ghana in the World Coaches Workshop. During his playing days, Emmy achieved a top 5 singles rank in Ghana.

    Dan Giammalvo, has been teaching at the Adirondack Club since 2012. Prior to working at the Adirondack club, Dan was the Director of Jr. Tennis/Head Pro at The Brown/Billone Club in Easton Ma. where he coached top New England and Nationally ranked Jr. players. Prior to that, he was the Director of Jr. Tennis at The Kingsbury Club Medfield where he developed their Academy and Jr. Academy programs and worked privately with High Performance Juniors. His coaching career includes coaching the Oakmont (MA) High School Varsity Tennis for 4 years. Dan was a ranked Jr player while in High School and went on to play #1 for his college team.

    Scott has been a member of the tennis staff at Adirondack since 2009. Prior to that he served as Head Tennis Professional at The Tri Valley Tennis Club in Ashland, MA. Additionally , he has worked for Babolat as the New England territory manager and served on the National Advisory Staff for Babolat. Scott is still an active player, recently participating in the 2013 Mixed Doubles National Championships. In the past, he has held the #1 ranking in Men's 4.5 doubles for multiple years. When not playing tennis Scott enjoys playing golf.

    Teaching Professional at the Adirondack Club since 2002. During his tenure, Ben has developed and grown many adult programs. Benjamin coaches many successful Adirondack Dorothy Bruno Hills women's teams.​ Prior to joining the Adirondack tennis staff, Ben was a teaching professional at Tri-Valley Tennis and Fitness in Ashland Ma.

    Tyler Hirokawa joins The Adirondack Tennis Staff in September 2014.  Prior to Adirondack, Tyler taught at the Todd Morsilli Clay Courts for 7 summers and spent the previous two and a half years at Tennis Rhode Island East Bay. Tyler attended Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. After graduation he  pursued a career in table tennis.  He loves to help people achieve goals and abilities they thought were out of reach.  Tyler brings intensity and passion every time he is on court. Tyler’s other interests include volleyball, bowling, badminton, table tennis and skiing.
