2012 SUMMER EXPERIENCE CAMPS
 AT THE ADIRONDACK CLUB

The perfect Summer Camp Experience for your
 10-13 year old!

Does your 10-13-year-old feel too old for camp? Do you want them to be in an engaging and exciting environment where they will learn skills and do team building activities? Send them to the Summer Experience. There are 6 week-long camps designed to do just that.

Try out our Extreme Adventure Camp, July Camping Trip, Sports Camp, The Arts Camp, or Chef Camp...or try them all! Your child will feel engaged and thrilled with activities aimed at their age-group. We also offer our traditional Adventure Camp for your campers through age 13.

Extreme Adventure Camp runs July 9-13.  This camp is designed to get your camper's adrenaline pumping!  Daily adventurous field trips include 5 Wits, Rock Climbing, Water Wizz, Amesbury Sports Park, and Skyzone!

July Camping Trip runs July 16-20.  If your kids love the outdoors, they will love this week of camp!  Campers will learn how to pitch a tent, read a compass, build a fire, go hiking/geocashing, travel to Castle Island, and try canoeing!

Sports Camp runs July 30-August 3.  Boston is a place to explore sports and the history behind them!  Your sports enthusiast will get to tour Fenway Park and the Garden, go ice skating, visit the Patriots Hall of Fame and a Pat's practice, go to Breezy Picnic Grounds and learn some new frisbee skills!  Talk about working up a sweat!

The Arts will run August 6-10.  This camp is designed for your budding artist.  We will learn to create art through a variety of media and try things they have never tried before!  We will be taking trips to the Decordova Museum to enjoy sculpture, the Museum of Fine Art, the movies to study the art of acting, and a community glass blowing studio where campers will see a demonstration and participate in a project with the help of professionals!

Chef Week is July 23-27.  Your at-home chef will love this camp designed to teach basic cooking skills and give your child the confidence to take on the kitchen!  Campers will be taught culinary skills by in-house Adirondack Chef, John Croatti!  We will also visit a local farm, a grocery store, and a restaurant kitchen to see the process of food from farm, to shelf, to plate!
