Pilates Instructor, Group Exercise Instructor
Julie has had a passion for movement and athletics since she was young. She could be found on a field, in a pool, on the diamond or in a dance studio for most of her young adult life. As she transitioned into college and life away from team sports, Julie found her love of movement reemerged in the fitness studio. It wasn’t until 2017 that she decided to pursue her love of health and fitness full time, becoming certified in Group Fitness through AFAA. Through this platform, Julie hopes to inspire others that there is no right exercise program for everyone to follow. The right program is that one that keeps you coming back week after week!
Most recently, Julie completed her STOTT Pilates training for mat work and reformer. She believes that Pilates truly is for EVERY BODY. Learning to move your body from a strong core is the key to preventing injury. Pilates also improves posture, mobility and muscle imbalances. This low impact workout strengthens and lengthens muscles, focusing on proper form and alignment without adding strain.
Julie is also certified to teach P90x, PiYo, soulFUSION and barre.
