Member Services Specialist
Position Summary: The Member Services Specialist is responsible for supporting the front desk and maintaining its efficiency at The Adirondack Club. The Specialist has a wealth of knowledge regarding the Club’s membership offerings, programs and services allowing them to answer member and non-member questions clearly and confidently. This position is responsible for inputting membership contracts and change requests.
Schedule Requirements:
Position 1: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm
Position 2: Monday - Wednesday 9:00am - 3:00pm
Member Services Specialist Responsibilities:

Greet members & their guests.
-
Check in members and confirm valid memberships.
-
Monitor non-member and guest check ins.
-
Process payments for services and unpaid balances.
-
Process new membership contracts and membership change requests.
-
Answer multi-line phone system.
-
Provide Club tours to promote and sell memberships.
-
Offer solutions to member questions.
-
Knowledgeable in all membership types and Club programming to recommend the best fit for members.
-
Ensures the front desk area is neat and presentable with current Club information available for members and guests to view and/or take with them.

Support all department directors with administrative duties.
Additional Responsibilities:

Attend staff meetings.

Assist in training new hires.
-
Assist with other duties as deemed necessary.

Understanding and following organizational policies and procedures.
Ideal Candidate:

Energetic self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes loud environment, and can react quickly when appropriate.

Excellent customer service skills with experience in resolving member/guest issues.

Ensues a flexible mindset knowing that each day may be different in it’s tasks and assigned duties.

Some billing/accounting experience preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and professionally.

Works well with a team as well as independently.

Portrays a professional appearance, healthy lifestyle and positive attitude.

Utilizes the Club for working out, group exercise classes, etc. to become knowledgeable in product offerings
Requirements
-
2+ years of in-person customer service experience in a fitness, retail or hospitality environment.

Proficient with computers and software including Microsoft programs.

Experience with CRM (customer relationship management) software a plus

Physical requirements/work environment:

Some lifting, carrying, walking, standing and sitting are essential to this position.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of an accident or emergency.
Inform members of current programming and pool schedule.
Monitor cleanliness of pool and pool deck and perform maintenance when necessary. Alert Pool Manager or Operations Director of any major issues.
Check and Record chemical readings at required times.
Communicates the rules of the facility to patrons fairly and consistently.
Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.
Completes accident/incident reports as necessary.
Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.
Adheres to all policies and procedures including, but not limited to, timeliness, codes of conduct, dress and timekeeping.
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications
Previous Lifeguard experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

Active Kids After School & Childcare
In Childcare, we are hiring for weekday and weekend shifts. At this time, the open positions for Childcare would be from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Monday through Friday. On the weekends, we are looking for staff to work a Saturday position that would be from 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM.
We are also hiring for our Active Kids After School Program. Join the team that runs the most Awesome After School programs around! Shifts for Active Kids will be during the week from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

WSI Swim Instructor
We're Hiring Swim Instructors!
