Manager on Duty

A Manager on Duty (MOD) is a part-time position that assumes the responsibility of managing and overseeing the staff of four departments Member Services, Childcare, Aquatics, and Fitness. MOD’s are scheduled on Saturdays, Sundays, weekdays prior to 8 AM, and weekdays after 5 PM.

We are currently looking to hire for closing and weekend types, including,

- Closing Fridays from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM / 9:00 PM

- Closing Saturdays 3:00 PM -7:00 PM

- Closing Sundays from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM / 7:00 PM
   (Summer Sunday Hours Differ)



- Open/Close The Club: turning on/off all electronics, lights, computers, and equipment.

- Respond promptly and respectfully to member complaints and suggestions.

- Recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment. For example, allowing lifeguards to leave early if it is raining.

- Delegate work to front desk staff such as filing, printing brochures, and other tasks as assigned.

- Monitor the member check-in process and address issues that arise on member’s accounts upon check-in – balances due, membership expired, etc.

- Record any maintenance issues that need attending to in the system log. In case of a maintenance emergency call the facilities director.

- Give prospective members a tour and be an expert on all different types of memberships and programs the club offers.

- React calmly in emergency situations and contact the appropriate people.



- Previous management experience

- Adept at resolving issues promptly and thoroughly

- Experience in the Fitness, Aquatics, Retail, or Hospitality industry preferred

- Professional appearance and demeanor

Responsibilities and Duties:

·         Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of an accident or emergency.

·         Inform members of current programming and pool schedule.

·         Monitor cleanliness of pool and pool deck and perform maintenance when necessary.  Alert Aquatics Director of any major issues.

·         Check and Record chemical readings at required times.

·         Communicates the rules of the facility to patrons fairly and consistently.

·         Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.

·         Completes accident/incident reports as necessary.

·         Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.

·         Adheres to all policies and procedures including, but not limited to, timeliness, codes of conduct, dress and timekeeping.

Qualifications and Skills:

·         Valid Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications

·         Previous Lifeguard experience preferred.

·         Ability to work with children

·         Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

We are hiring swim instructors! Positions are year-round, part-time, with flexible hours including weekends. You must have a current WSI Certification, be mature and have some experience in a teaching environment or working with children.

Join one of the best summer camps in the region!  Camp runs for 9 weeks; June 22-August 21, Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm.  The Ropes Course Coordinator is responsible for organizing and facilitating a variety of games, activities and challenges for campers' ages 5-14 years old utilizing our onsite low ropes course, zip line and climbing wall.



  • Must be 20 years of age and able to pass state CORI/SORI

  • Good energy and an upbeat attitude

  • Creative

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Experience working with kids and/or groups

  • Comfortable with heights

  • Ability to complete ropes course, belay and climbing training (any prior experience is a plus)

  • Ability to climb the course

  • Able to set up, clean up and organize program equipment properly
