The Adirondack Club is currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our facilities team. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible, and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The facilities team member will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, workout spaces, bathrooms, classrooms, and public areas. This is fantastic opportunity to earn competitive pay ($17-$19/hr), health/dental, paid sick time, 2 weeks vacation, 5 paid holidays, and a club membership. •    Perform scheduled cleaning processes throughout the building
•    Perform specialty cleaning projects by following written instructions
•    Use brooms, mops, vacuums, floor scrubbers, carts, etc. to keep building clean
•    Keep work areas clean and organized
•    Must be customer-oriented, professional, and friendly
•    Assist with shoveling during winter storms

•    Ability to work Tuesday-Saturday evenings until 1am with a flexible meal break
•    Strong attention to detail
•    Takes pride in his/her work and highly motivated
•    Ability to work well under minimal supervision
•    Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary
•    Physically able to use backpack vacuum and perform repetitive tasks
•    Must have reliable transportation to work
•    Able to follow written and digital instructions on computer/iPad
•    Janitorial experience is a plus


 Mid-Day Shift 11:30am-6pm Monday-Friday

Immediate and Seasonal Shifts (weekends required & 2 after school shifts/week)

Full Or Part-Time

Responsibilities and Duties:

·         Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of an accident or emergency.

·         Inform members of current programming and pool schedule.

·         Monitor cleanliness of pool and pool deck and perform maintenance when necessary.  Alert Aquatics Director of any major issues.

·         Check and Record chemical readings at required times.

·         Communicates the rules of the facility to patrons fairly and consistently.

·         Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.

·         Completes accident/incident reports as necessary.

·         Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.

·         Adheres to all policies and procedures including, but not limited to, timeliness, codes of conduct, dress and timekeeping.

Qualifications and Skills:

·         Valid Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications

·         Previous Lifeguard experience preferred.

·         Ability to work with children

·         Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

We are hiring swim instructors! Positions are year-round, part-time, with flexible hours including weekends. You must have a current WSI Certification, be mature and have some experience in a teaching environment or working with children.
