Member Services Floater

We are currently looking to hire an individual to float between Manager on Duty (MOD) and Front Desk shifts. This role requires Saturday availability, afternoon and evening weekday availability and the ability to work an occasional early morning and holiday.

 

We are currently seeking dedicated MODs to cover specific shifts and provide additional support when necessary, including holidays:

  • Saturdays 11am - 3pm (MOD Shift)

  • Additional Weekday Shifts (Varied)

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Club Operations:

    • Open/close the club, ensuring all electronics, lights, computers, and equipment is properly managed.

    • Promptly and respectfully address member inquiries, complaints, suggestions, and membership requests or changes.

    • Exercise good judgment to identify areas for improvement and implement changes, such as allowing early departure for lifeguards in inclement weather.

  2. Team Management:

    • Delegate tasks to front desk staff, including filing, printing brochures, and other assigned responsibilities.

    • Monitor the member check-in process, addressing issues related to account balances, expired memberships, etc.

    • Record maintenance issues in the system log for timely attention.

  3. Membership Expertise:

    • Provide informative tours to prospective members, showcasing expertise in various memberships and programs offered by the club.

  4. Emergency Response:

    • React calmly in emergency situations and initiate appropriate contacts.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous management experience is essential.

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues promptly and thoroughly.

  • Positive and upbeat attitude.

  • Reliable for scheduled shifts and available for additional coverage when needed.

  • Relevant customer service experience is required.

  • Experience in the Fitness, Aquatics, Retail, or Hospitality industry is preferred.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Active Kids After School & Childcare

In Childcare, we are hiring for weekday and weekend shifts. At this time, the open positions for Childcare would be from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Monday through Friday. On the weekends, we are looking for staff to work a Saturday position that would be from 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM. 

 

We are also hiring for our Active Kids After School Program. Join the team that runs the most Awesome After School programs around! Shifts for Active Kids will be during the week from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. 

If you are interested in either of these positions and want to work with an awesome team on any combination of these days, we would love to see your application! Any experience with children is a big plus but not required!

WSI Swim Instructor

Lifeguards/Part-Time

Currently, we are looking to fill midday and afternoon shifts. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of an accident or emergency.

  • Inform members of current programming and pool schedule.

  • Monitor cleanliness of pool and pool deck and perform maintenance when necessary.  Alert Aquatics Director of any major issues.

  • Check and Record chemical readings at required times.

  • Communicates the rules of the facility to patrons fairly and consistently.

  • Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.

  • Completes accident/incident reports as necessary.

  • Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.

  • Adheres to all policies and procedures including, but not limited to, timeliness, codes of conduct, dress and timekeeping.​

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications

  • Previous Lifeguard experience preferred.

  • Ability to work with children

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
