Head Lifeguard - Opening Shift
Monday - Friday - 5:30am-1:30pm
Responsibilities and Duties:
-
Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of an accident or emergency.

Inform members of current programming and pool schedule.
-
Monitor cleanliness of pool and pool deck and perform maintenance when necessary. Alert Pool Manager or Operations Director of any major issues.
-
Check and Record chemical readings at required times.
-
Communicates the rules of the facility to patrons fairly and consistently.
-
Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.
-
Completes accident/incident reports as necessary.
-
Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.

Adheres to all policies and procedures including, but not limited to, timeliness, codes of conduct, dress and timekeeping.
Qualifications and Skills:

Valid Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications
-
Previous Lifeguard experience preferred.

Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

Active Kids After School & Childcare
In Childcare, we are hiring for weekday and weekend shifts. At this time, the open positions for Childcare would be from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Monday through Friday. On the weekends, we are looking for staff to work a Saturday position that would be from 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM.
We are also hiring for our Active Kids After School Program. Join the team that runs the most Awesome After School programs around! Shifts for Active Kids will be during the week from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
If you are interested in either of these positions and want to work with an awesome team on any combination of these days, we would love to see your application! Any experience with children is a big plus but not required!

Manager on Duty (MOD)
A Manager on Duty (MOD) is a part-time position which assumes responsibility of managing and overseeing the staff of four departments Member Services, Childcare, Aquatics, and Fitness. Night, early morning, holiday and weekend availability is required.
We are currently looking to hire MODs who can cover the below shift plus assist with additional coverage when needed which may include holidays.
Wednesday & Thursday - 4:30am start
Saturdays - 5:30am start
Responsibilities:
-
Open/Close the club turning on/off all electronics, lights, computers, and equipment.
-
Respond promptly and respectfully to member questions, complaints and/or suggestions including membership requests or changes.
-
Recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment.
-
For example, allowing lifeguards to leave early if it is raining.
-
-
Delegate work to front desk staff such as filing, printing brochures and other tasks as assigned.
-
Monitor the member check in process and address issues that arise on member’s accounts upon check in – balances due, membership expired, etc.
-
Record any maintenance issues that need attending to in the system log.
-
Give prospective members a tour and be an expert on all different types of memberships and programs the club offers.
-
React calmly in emergency situations and contact the appropriate people.
Qualifications:

Facilities Maintenance - Full time
The Adirondack Club is currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our facilities maintenance team. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible, and willing to take on cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The facilities team member will be trained on routine maintenance of facility and equipment as well as some cleaning tasks. Responsibilities:

Perform specialty cleaning projects on a regular basis

WSI Swim Instructor
We are hiring swim instructors! Applicant must be available between 9am - 11am Monday through Friday. This position is part-time year-round. You must have a current WSI Certification, be mature and have some experience in a teaching environment or working with children.
