WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY LIKE
IN SPORTS CAMP?
All the activities of a traditional summer camp…with a a focus on duo, group and team SPORTS! With our amazing new Indoor Turf in The Adirondack Club Field House your camper will have inside and outside time during their day. This camp is available for different experiences and levels; this is because the types of sports will vary through out the day and week(s) giving campers the ability to try new Sports and play some of their favorites regardless of skill level! Activities include daily free swim and weekly field trips. Sports Campers enjoy Friday Fun Days too! Ages 8-12; full-day.
WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY LIKE IN SPORTS CAMP WHEN SPORTS ARE NOT BEING PLAYED?
Outside of playing sports, a week in Sports Camp day includes daily lunch(optional to buy), swimming, arts and crafts, ropes course, science, home economics, and fitness, along with weekly off-site field trips.** Challenger campers are taught by our counselors, who are made up of College Athletes and High School Athletes! Sneakers are required each day in order to participate.

The amount of Science/Arts and Crafts may vary week to week. Outside of Week 3, our week due to the holiday, Sports Camp will be going on a field trip most Wednesdays.
HOW ARE THE COUNSELORS SELECTED?
Our process for hiring Sports Camp counselors differs a bit from other other staff. We aim to hire current High School or College Athletes. All counselors will have had some form of sports experience at the very least.
All of our counselors are chosen based on their experience with pre-teens. All counselors are CPR, First Aid and AED certified by the American Red Cross and screened by the state’s CORI/SORI system.
In addition to Red Cross Training a Summer Camp Staff training in June is required for all Summer Camp Staff that will be on our team for the season.
