WHAT IS FIRST 45?

First 45 is a comprehensive 45-day plan designed to get you on the path to improved health and wellness. Complimentary to all new members when they join, First 45 strives to provide each participant with the tools and guidance they need to achieve their fitness goals.

Our highly experienced staff will work closely with participants throughout the 45 day period, and beyond, with the goal of being a valuable resource for them!

WHO IS IT FOR?

This program is available to Full Club and Fitness Members only.  Up to 2 people per membership may take advantage of First 45, and they both must be at least 18 years old.  This program is not available to nannies, students, guests, etc.

FIRST 45 Step by Step

 

STEP 1

WHAT'S YOUR GOAL?

In the first week as a new member, you will complete a comprehensive, 60-minute assessment and goal setting session with a certified trainer/assessor.  This one-on-one, private session, will take place within the first 7 days of joining.  The purpose is to establish the member's health and fitness starting point using a number of tests which may include:
 

  • Blood Pressure and Heart Rate

  • Cardio-respiratory Endurance

  • Muscular Strength and Endurance

  • Flexibility and Balance

  • Weight and BMI (handheld method)
     

Additionally, the trainer will review your fitness history in conjunction with your short and long-term goals in order to design the most effective and attainable program.

 

 

STEP 2
 LET'S GET TO WORK!

In the second week, you will receive a complimentary one-hour personal training session with a certified trainer. The goal of this session is to provide you with a customized 4-week exercise program you can perform on your own. This will help you develop the regular exercise habits so important to good health and get you on your way to achieving your goals.  Trainers may also suggest alternatives such as one-on-one sessions, group exercise classes or even small group training ideas.

WE'RE HERE FOR YOU!

 

Throughout your 4-week commitment, you will receive regular trainer follow-up.  This will provide critical accountability along with a vital connection needed for success.  In addition, you will receive valuable resources pertaining to some of the other important aspects of wellness.  These include nutritional guidelines, the importance of balance in your life and much more.

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 4
LET'S SEE HOW YOU DID!

This critical step, completed at the conclusion of 45 days, provides you with a complimentary 30-minute evaluation incorporating a number of the assessments outlined in Step 1.  The trainer/assessor will review your workouts, the results of the evaluation, the progress you have made toward your goals and discuss a plan for moving forward.  Trainers will provide the details of the many training options we have, one-on-one, semi-private, and large group training.  They will also review our Group Exercise schedule and point out classes that you might find are a good fit for your goals.  Finally, if a plan to workout on your own is preferred, they will assist in its design.
