Katie Marony

Personal Trainer

Growing up Katie played nearly every team sport imaginable, but soccer was always her favorite. She captained the women’s soccer team at Hampshire College, where she received her Bachelors in Animal Behavior.

After graduation, Katie started her career with US Fish and Wildlife Service, as a fish biologist. Although conservation is an incredibly rewarding field, she began to miss being a member of a wellness-centered community.

In 2018, Katie received her personal training certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). She holds additional ACE-specialist certifications in Functional Training, Sports Nutrition, and Senior Fitness. Her favorite exercise modalities to coach are strength training and boxing.

Katie firmly believes in meeting each and every client where they are along their fitness journey. Never set foot in a gym? Great! Let’s figure out your favorite ways to move. Looking to increase your vertical jumping height before the season starts? Let’s get working on explosive power.

When she’s not raising fish or training clients, Katie love spending time knitting in the garden with her wife (also named Katie!) and their 10-year old son, a little black rabbit named Iris.
