AQUATICS  At The Adirondack Club

Adirondck Club Pools

The Aquatic facility at The Adirondack Club is state-of-the-art and second to none in the area! We have two pools and a hot tub that are used year-round. In the cooler seasons, they are under a heated dome. The dome is removed in early June and the pools are outdoors until mid-September. Once the dome is removed we add a large enclosed waterslide and a sprayground area with water features that your kids can run through, slide down or just sit in and enjoy!

We offer a six-lane, 25-yard competition lap pool, and a "beach entry" recreational pool. A large deck surrounds our pools. It is coated with a material designed to keep it cool to the touch, even on the hottest days.

Adirondack Club Swim Lessons

Learn to Swim, Swim for Life!

The Adirondack Swim School strives to surpass traditional swim lessons. Our program is designed to produce skilled, confident, and happy swimmers. Our heated pools help increase attention and promote time efficient lessons. A low instructor to student ratio keeps the learning pace fast and effective. Positive and enthusiastic instructors use a variety of creative skill progressions to balance work and play in each lesson. It is the goal of everyone on our staff to offer lessons in a safe and stress-free environment where each child's learning needs are met. We aim to put a smile on the face of every child who enters the Adirondack Aquatic Center. Fun is the key to our high level of success!
The Adirondack Club is a proud provider of approved American Red Cross Swim Instruction. All of our swim instructors are American Red Cross Water Safety certified.
Semi-private and private lessons are also available.

Private Swim Instruction - Reopening

Beginning Wednesday July 15th, members and non-member will be able to schedule private swim lessons with our Red Cross certified swim instructors. All private lessons will be conducted under the new guidelines required by the state and local officials.

As the new guidelines and regulations are being updated, we will keep our swimmers informed of any changes.

The swim participants safety and well-being are most important to the instructors and we have put the following steps in place to ensure this happens.

  1. Swim lessons are focused on minimal contact were possible

  2. Instructors, when in water, shall wear a face shield. When coaching from the deck, a face mask

  3. Instructors will be assigned a zone to work in for entire session, to ensure social distancing

  4. Lesson will be adjusted so instructor is not face to face with student.

  5. A clean and sterilized set of swim equipment will be used for each lesson.

  6. Parent may watch from pool deck but must always wear a mask, if social distance cannot be maintained.

Contact Andrew Hawkins, Aquatics Director 508-541-1400 (ext 220) or via email at

All bookings for private lessons, will be handled by the Aquatic Director. I will in turn direct your information to a swim instructor who will contact you to arrange a lesson. This is to ensure that we have social distancing between lessons, and we do not exceed our pool capacity. We can have a max of 4 lessons per 30 minutes in the pool area.

Arriving at the Club

  • Arrive in your swim attire. We have limited capacity in locker rooms. The bathrooms are available.

  • Masks are required while arriving and leaving the club, you may remove your mask once at the pool area.

  • Parents and students only at the pool, no guest. This is to maintain capacity limitations in club.

  • Unfortunately, there can be no free swim before or after the lesson. Once lesson has finished, you must leave the pool area. We have a 15-minute cleaning period between lessons.

We look forward to start getting back to a new normal, and ensuring we deliver the best quality swim experience to our clients. Our number one priority is to keep your children, aquatically safe.
