The Adirondack club is simply awesome. What can I tell you about it? Well for one it’s clean and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also also offer a variety of different classes. The atmosphere is very upbeat and it’s truly a great place to come and work out. Personal trainers are just awesome. My trainer Jenn Goebel is one of the best I’ve ever had. They all work with you and help you achieve your goals. They take whatever necessary steps to get you going and also assist and motivate you to just simply hit your mark every single time.

Regular training with Lisa is as essential to good health as annual physicals, mammograms and colonoscopies. Her knowledgeable instruction of functional weight training means that my body continues to get stronger and “function” well despite aging and the stressors of everyday wear and tear. I would like to give shout outs to the fitness team and especially my coach Emily Malaquias for the fantastic experience I am having with the personal training program at ADK. At our very first meeting Emily did a great job assessing who I was as an athlete and what I hoped to achieve from a personal training program. Having now spent several months with her in semi-private training, I realize just what a good coach can teach you and do for your workouts. She brings her passion for coaching and her compassion for each of our individual struggles to every session. The program overall has exceeded my expectations and more importantly really changed how I focus on my own well being. To anyone thinking of adding some personal training to their workout I highly recommend this offering. In addition, having just become a member back in December, I would like to recognize and say thanks to Lexi Beahm for the great introduction to ADK and all its benefits. Also enough can't be said about the hospitality of the member services group that greet me everyday and the maintenance team that makes the place shine. One last big shout out and thanks to Dave Dunbar for the spiritual refocusing workout he provides to his Kripalu yoga class every Thursday and Saturday!

The tennis courts are wonderful- top notch- with great instructors - (esp Ben!!). I play there 3x/week. The fitness areas and staff are amazing. Emily is a very knowledgeable & personable trainer, designs programs tailored to my specific needs. I've noticed dramatic improvement in just four weeks! I highly recommend Emily! And Colin sends inspirational emails almost daily- which spurs me on. The entire club is very well maintained, with a strict cleaning regime, also state of art air filtration system with frequent air quality testing. This facility was my safe haven during the pandemic due to their strict safety protocols. They also have a beautiful swimming pool - enclosed in winter but open in summer! I highly recommend the Adirondack Club!!

Jenn’s focus has been a great experience. She has completely changed the way I work out. She has provided new routines and exercises that provide strength and balance in my workouts. She spends the time to know her clients’ individual needs and attentively works to individualize workouts in a manner that accommodates injuries and “pain points” while focusing on areas of weakness to achieve a balanced healthier approach to lifting and exercise. She’s a great asset to the club.
One other facet of the adk experience that I have found particularly valuable is the trainerize app. I have used the app consistently over the year. It provides routine workouts that allow me to maintain a variable workout schedule every week, with new areas of focus and a regimen of exercises and reps. This has ensured that I stay out of a “rut” and exposed me to new exercises that are challenging and impactful. The workouts are structured and balanced and provide brief videos for each of the exercises to illustrate how to correctly perform them. It’s an excellent compliment to my other workouts during the week.

My son has been attending the Child Care services since he was 4 months old and I can't say enough about the facilities and staff. He is now a part of the Active Kids Preschool and the program is excellent. There are not many other preschools that offer swim lessons, fitness classes, nature walks, and of course traditional classroom experiences. My son has loved the program and has built relationships, developed social-emotional skills and confidence. We are members of the club and I highly recommend the children's program as well as many of the fitness training opportunities.

My 5 year old daughter went to Adirondack's adventure camp for 1 week. She had an absolute blast! She came home with a huge smile and lots of stories every day. She loved the counselors and the campers. Drop off and pick up is extremely easy and efficient. I also love that you can purchase lunch for the week for a small fee. It was great not having to worry about packing lunch. We will definitely be back next year! Thanks ADK!!

The tennis programs are phenomenal! I had never played tennis before and began a few years ago at the club. They helped me from the very start and now I’m able to play a couple of times a week. Not only do I continue to learn tennis skills, but I’ve formed wonderful friendships. Now 3 of my children and my husband also play take lessons and play at the club. Highly recommend tennis at the Adirondack club!!
